The Astros are having trouble signing their 4th round draft picks.
Do you think that this has something to do with McLames' insistence that they stick with the MLB slotting system? You know Draytie, always looking for the cheap way out!

Actually, they've signed their 4th round pick.

It's the two high school kids that haven't signed yet in the 3rd round and 3rd round supplemental. One of those has a scholarship to Tulane (the Houston kid).
If you look at that link, they've been fairly successful this season in getting their picks to sign. Remember, no team gets all their picks to sign.

My bad. I know that not every prospect signs. It just seems to me that the Astros have more problems in that area than a lot of other teams.
