I lost all interest in the NFL when the Oilers moved to Tennessee. I no longer have a team to invest myself emotionally as I did the "Luv' Ya' Blue" generation.
I've watched the Texans a few times they were on tv up here and I had a hard time trying to figure out who were the Texans and who were the opposition.
That thing they have on their helmets reminds me of Arena League Football. Plus their uniform colors are not distinctively recognizable as was the Oilers powder Blue jersy's and the red oil rigs trimmed in black on the side of their helmets.

I just cannot get into this new team that looks the same as the majority of the other new teams that have come into the league in the last 10 years.

You can pick out the Packers, Steelers, Browns, Cowboys etc. because they have remained faithful to their colors and designs.

Houston should not have allowed Bud Adams to take the team name and logo with him. The city of Cleveland kept the name of the Browns.

Houston was not smart on that issue. The thing I can't stand is all of these a$$h*les down here wearing Titans gear at games. I wish to God the fans here were as rabid as the fans in Oakland. I DARE someone to wear the opposing teams gear in the Coliseums' "Black Hole".

I did think it was funny as hell that Vince Young got hurt though. Now maybe he will grow up and mature while he is not able to play. Any QB that tells his coaching staff "No one can tell me anything" needs to be riding the bench until he listens to what the coaching staff is trying to tell him. He is not very bright, maybe 10 watts out of 100! :)

Well I can agree that maybe we don't have "rabid" fans like those but I think you bring a winner here and the fans will kick it in high gear.

Our stadium is already known for its loudness and its ability to make the opposing feel uncomfortable.

If the Texans get into the playoffs this town will go ballistic.

What's up, b*tches!!! I'm with James...screw the No Fun League. I've evolved into a Longhorn fan in the years that I have been here in Austin and exclusively watch college football now. How have ya'll been? I had one HELL of a busy YEAR in 2009 and kinda lost touch with you guys...my apologies...Had to do a google search to find this place again! James, SA Doug, Texiban, Vega, JB..et al...how has everyone been? Where the F**K is Coach? Doing prison time for that goat he fell in love with at the King Ranch last summer?
