Bourn homered but then Chopsui broke the streak with a single. I would be embarrassed that I couldn't hit a homerun off of this Parra. Tejada will surely strike out. They are chickening out and putting in a reliever. Those coward drunkard Brewsters are no good cowards. Tejada was going to strike out.

The brewsters fell for my bull and left the fool in. He is giving up the game except for the Astros starters and bullpen whom I believe are capable of losing any game no matter how hopeless the score may seem.

brewers have a good team but the pitching needs to improve big time for them.
They only have 1 very good starter, others, only number 5 starters now that Gallardo is injured.

I believe they are putting in a reliever finally for Pence. That may be a big mistake especially if they put in a fastball pitcher. The brewster manager is probably to drunk to know the difference.

Pence singled as I thought might be the case. If he were the hitter that he claims to be he would have hit a homerun. How do you get a name like Pence anyway. I would be embarrassed to have a name like Pence. And a Hunter of Pence, that is embarrassing. Pigginton is up. Grounded out, what is with that Pigginton? I fear now it is time to throw in the Towle. That is singular for Towles. After all we only have one of them. If he would get a hit it would truly be a miracle. Towles needs to learn that if it is a fastball pitcher you have to hack. Pence should teach him that. It is all he knows.

well, like i said, backe is a 5 inning pitcher, starting the 6th 2 walks in a row on 8 pitches.
We need to have a pitcher in the bullpen when the 6th starts everytime this guy pitches, he is a 5 inning pitcher.

If Backe gets through this inning with no damage it will truly be a miracle. I don't thing a miracle can get throught the smog of Houston. Backe is doing his walking thing. Get him out before it is too late. I know when he starts doing that walking thing the game falls apart.

My internet is crap today. South Dakota is like 1960's technology. I am thinking Cooper took my advice and pulled his Backe out. Poor Cooper, that must be painful. But it is like the game stopped and I am getting nothing.

backe, 5 walks in 5 2/3 innings, awful.
He did NOT pitch a good game tonight.

They finally got Backe out and just in time. I am getting to like Cooper better. Did the right thing there. Villareal is scary though. They all suck. Cooper has forgotten Cruz on the bench, what's with that?

villareal is starting to pitch really good.
Right now he is looking better than geary, meaning, he looks like the 7th innning pitcher as of now.
Wright continues to pitch good baseball.
If Geary and Villareal can do what they can do, this bullpen could become good unless Cooper continues to send Borkowski on close games.

My final analysis of this game is a miracle made it through the smog of Houston. There is no explanation for it except a miracle. Their players and ours are bad, it was just a test to see who was worse. So far they are more pathetic than we are. That is helpful. When you play good teams and get pounded it is nice to have beaten teams that have a similar talent level to yours.
