Sheets vs Sampson

Lets hope we are tied after 4 and then give every reliever 1 or 2 innings and try and win the game.

Thats 9 innings, with an open day on monday and Sampson pitching, we are going to need relievers big time today.

Lets go Astros, important game to get to .500, be only .5 out of third place and continue only 4 games out of first place.

Why we need this game? We need to win 5 out of 6 on this homestand and Mohler is pitching one of the 3 games next series, is going to be easier to sweep this series than the Nationals series.

It amazes me that we carry a useless guy liike Moehler on the 40-man roster and now we are starting him against the Nationals. No wonder fans say Drayton doesn't give a damn about winning. A winning organization has better choices than this to put in the rotation.

First inning, already 1 run, 2 hits and a walk.

Sampson is AWFUL.

Even Sheets got a single from Sampson, this is one of the worst starters in baseball, maybe the worse. I take Mohler over this clown any day.


Today we are losing 10 to 0, i'll let sampson pitch until the 8th and allow 20 runs and send him to triple a WHERE HE BELONGS.

Cassell is better than this clown.

Can't really follow this game today, but Homer is running up a pitch count. I doubt he will last for 5 innings. Sheets Sampson it a terrible matchup. It reminds you of Sampson and Delilah, or is that Roger Clemens matched up with a fifteen year old country western singer. However you match it is terrible.

Thing is sheets is not pitching that well, but sampson is pitching so bad and STILL pitching is incredible.

Sampson needs to go down, maybe we can bring Woody back.

Cooper is an idiot, i thought byrdak was going to come in.

Borkowski, Sampson and Mohler should not be in our team, we need to replace the 3 guys.

How many times Cooper has to make the SAME mistake again and again?

All is well that ends well. That said it was an amazingly messed up game. I am beginning to get a slightly better opinion of our hitters when they stayed in the game with Sampson pitching against Sheets. Sheets has always given the Astros problems. For that matter Homeless Sampson has given the Astros problems. Send Homeless back to the minors where he belongs.

wow, we won an incredible game, bullpen did the job and our hitting.


As I predicted at the beginning all the relievers i mentioned did very good (only one that struggled was Borkowski). I had Wright or Villareal (I did not know if Villa was going to pitch after pitching 2 innings yesterday).

Sampson did much worse than i expected, i was expecting 4 innings, 3 runs and time to get him out.

Well, he pitched less than 4 innings, and 5 runs scored. This guy has almost an ERA of 8, we can't continue to send him outhere to pitch.

If Mohler is able to give us 5 ok innings, he should continue as our number 5 starter and send Sampson to the minors.

I think Brewers manager is bad. He is probably worse than Cooper. He did many stupid things in matchups and such. I think he probably could have won one maybe two of these games, but he had his head in his arse.
