Eh..he's a malcontent..I guess it might improve us a bit to have him in CF and Pence in RF, but Scott ain't hurting us that much when he plays consistently.

i agree with chandler...people have got to give scott at least a season..maybe 1.5 seasons..the problems with a lot of teams, not just this one, is they are impatient with people and look to replace them far too quickly..They let lane fck things up for 3 years....you have to keep in mind he was hitting .230 a little while back..lets also remember he was one of the best hitters in baseball the second half of last year....

OK... I just disagree. He wouldnt cost diddly and he would improve the bench.

Do you think Bradley's going to take a bench role for peanuts?

But Bradley has always been known as much for his volatile behavior as his baseball skills. In 2005, he accused Dodgers teammate Jeff Kent of a lack of leadership and an inability to deal with black players.
Bradley was also suspended for the final five games of the 2004 season when he slammed a plastic bottle at the feet of a fan in the box seats in the right field corner at Dodger Stadium after someone threw it on the field. Nobody was injured.
Bradley had two run-ins with police during traffic stops in Ohio, one that landed him a three-day stay in jail and another that nearly sent him back for a second visit. When he was with the Dodgers, police responded three times to Bradley's home on domestic violence calls, but he wasn't arrested or charged.
ya, this is what the team needs

Since he's being released, I don't think Bradley is an a position to start making demands. With that being said, I don't think we need to sign a known troublemaker.

You guys not to long ago were debating about having players with a little attitude. This guys has it and is a very talented player when healthy. He also switch hits. His defense is good. He can play all the positions. With Luke Scotts injury issues, why not if he is healthy.
Chandler... he wont cost much. He is owed the remainder of a $4 million dollar salary and the A's will probably pay most of that if not all if they get a decent prospect in return.
He reminds me alot of Carl Everett before he got here.
It cant hurt.

I think its a mistake..plus, why would we create a backlog of outfielders? what i think they should do is pursue some reliable relief and maybe a good starter.. pitching is whats killing this team now

Don't need that attitude in the clubhouse. It can very well hurt.

Is the Apocalypse coming? Hembro, Chandler and JB all agreeing. Can this be happening? ;D ;D
I have to throw my vote in with them also. I see no need to add Bradley. Let him have his monopoly game.

That guy is an idiot. We do not need an idiot in the clubhouse. It's one thing to have fiery guy, it's another to have a complete moron.
