We should look for hitters in the minors, right now we have very few good hitters in the minors.
Rodriguez is a SS/3B and Mathis a catcher.
Mathis is ready, Rodriguez needs one year.

someone said the angles will pay any amount to get arod..so ensberg probably will not be there...then again i here arod wants to play shortstop again..

Since you have to give something to get something, what could we get if we packaged Ensberg and Lamb? Or Ensberg and Burke? I don't think we trade both Ensberg and Lamb. Ensberg and Burke would be OK but I think they still think Burke is Biggio's successor. |

Lamb is too big a bat off the bench to trade. Ensberg, Burke and a pitching prospect maybe. I know Purp may think Burke's the answer at 2nd, but 2nd baseman of his caliber are not that hard to find.
