how about berkman, lidge and another pitcher to the yankees for cano and phil hughes along with some $$$$ Hembo, if you are that dumb, I'm glad you have no say in trades that we make. I can't believe anyone is that dumb.

ok c*ck sucker the only thing you ever contribute is your profound man love for a .200 hitting SS..You offer criticism and no better ideas...ya, stick with what you have...Its doing so well..how many games out are they?

I repeat............you don't trade the best shortstop in the league, especially is he comes cheap. Suggesting to offer Berkman and Lidge in that type of deal is just plain asinine. Berkman is having an off year and I wouldn't rule out trading him if the deal was lopsided in our favor but that won't happen. Besides, he has a no-trade clause. Make some realistic suggestions and you won't get hammered.

Ya of course you dont trade the best defensive ss in the league...maybe thats part of the problem...he doesnt save that many runs..You know, to give you guys the benefit of the doubt , i have asked die hard astro fans(ones who know what they're talking about)and played your card...i asked them who needs to go and he was one of the ones said..i said' but he saves runs' they said' he costs us more in offense than he saves....I said' he's the best fielding ss in the Nl if not all of MLB' they agreed but said so what...if he saves 15 runs a season thats not enough of an impact to make up for him hitting .200 .215 and not driving in 15 runs(facetious)
The point is he isnt worth it... Plus, they pointed out those who believe everett is saving so many runs are listening to oswalt(the guy who said it) He isnt exactly a rhodes scholar and could quit frankly be the dumbest guy in sports...his idea of living large was getting his dad out of his trailer and the woods

How nice of you to trash Roy Oswalt and his father. Did Ma and Pa Hembo teach you that? I don't know exactly how intelligent Oswalt really is but I would bet that if he were compared to you, he'd qualify for a Rhodes scholarship. It must have been hell for you being the only 15 year old in the 4th grade.

yeah, right.
Beltran is a BETTER BASEBALL PLAYER.
I think you are the ONLY person in this world that takes Berkman over Beltran.

I guess not.. The Astros did. Vega... you way over value alot of players. You getting more and more out there like hembo.
Berkman would be selected by alot of teams over Beltran based on team needs. Berkman is twice the hitter Beltran is and at a HUGE discount.
The Astros are lucky Beltran didnt take the deal. They offered WAAY too much money for him.

berkman better than beltran? LMFAO ahaaaaaaaaaaaaa Thats got to be in the quote hall of fame...im not kidding, ab, that was too funny..I havent shot water through my nose in a while..thanks
getting past that ...question for tonights game..why did mt better than beltran stop that throw from lane? the guy is absolutely horrible..one of the worst in MLB i will back that up..Berkman is a horsesh*t defensive player and really needs to play winter ball to work on his running..Now he cant hit...ok back to all around bad beltran ;D

You must not watch a lot of baseball, or if you do, you must not grasp what you're seeing if you think that Berkman is 'horrible' or that he's 'horsesh*t' defensively.
