what issue? Its an insane comment and there cant possibly be a rebuttle..That kind of thing is beneath even me so you know its bad.. You're right, there *is* no rebuttal, because the facts are there for all to see. There is no denying that he's been very, very good at home this year. Do you deny it? The numbers are there. Do you deny that those are very good numbers? |

AB the comment was incredibly stupid..so he pitches great at home..guess that makes him a cy young candidate Are you blind or can you simply not read that well? JB clearly said that Wandy was a Cy Young candidate 'AT HOME'. He never said he was a great pitcher, his comparison merely demonstrated that, at home only, Wandy has been very good. That's an undisputable fact. Does JB think he's a legit Cy Young contender overall? Of course not. Try reading instead of jumping to conclusions. |

on the other page..forget it...so by everyones admission in this thread the astros cant afford to trade wandy..why are we having this discussion..astros need to protect him at all costs...those numbers are great..we can just let him pitch at home...

Who said that? Again you take a simple comment and you run WAY too far with it.
Pointing out the FACT that he's been very good THIS YEAR at HOME only doesn't mean that we think he's untouchable. I hope they do trade him, he might be at the peak of his value right now.
