Oswalt wanting to throw strikes in the wrong situation got him beat tonight. Not a smart game for Roy.

is a pity to see Bengie play for SF and we are stuck with Ausmus.
Astros had all the chance to sign this guy twice and we did not.
Purp is awul.

This needs to be the last year of Brad Ausmus as an Astro. At least as a starter.

This also needs to be the last year for Purpura. It will take time to overcome his incompetence.

Purp took a great team from Hun and has made it into a joke.

Hun? What did Hun do so great? Please give me examples of what Hun did that Purp isnt.
Dont get me wrong. I am not a Timmy P fan at this point either, but I just dont think ole Gerry was much better.

what did he do?hmmm..playoffs every year and he brought most of this team together..did he not get oswalt and berkman? i could be wrong but he also got kent, beltran and made the move for randy johnson...hunsicker is a true winner...the best Gm in baseball bar none. poopooa is a lap dog and will not challenge drayton...hun did that...

Good GM, yes..best bar none? Not quite. Teams weren't exactly stumbling over their own feet to sign him up when he quit here. He took that VP job at Tampa bay, but he's not the GM.
He was good, but he never did as much with as little as Billy Beane did.

Tim Purpura was right there with Hun. The State of the farm system is Huns fault as well.
I love it how people call Tim Draytons lapdog. Of course he is. All GM's work for the owner. It is silly to think otherwise.

well the whole argument is dumb if you ask me.. i think drayton is the best, but look at it this way...any team can compete with a 100 mil payroll..try doing it on 50 mil(or less) i dont think a GM debate is worth our time...look at it this way..everybody made a huge deal when theo epstein quit Boston...boo hoo...i could build a winenr with what he was given...gimmie a break.
hun, beane and other did it on zero money...
i liken the above to the atlanta pitching coach in the early 90's what the phuck was that guy going to tell glavine, smoltz and maddux' geez heres how its done fellas listen up' look whats happened since..he's in baltimore and those guys arent good....
