I dont know why people are sticking up for this guy because he is horsechit...Yes he is better than carr but so what sage rosenfels is better than carr....I see them drafting a qb next year...He really needs to cut down on the interceptions..he has about the same amount as TD's....I wil lsay this though...he isnt the main problem...They have ZERO offensive weapons(w/o johnson) davis is good but defenders are wearing him like underwear.. they're all over the guy as he is the only one who can do anything....The texans biggest threat is by far and away kris brown...i see these guys as the astros of football..
When is Houston going to have a team thats worth not folding?

The team isn't 'worth folding' now.
Of course it's going to be a rough stretch when you lose your top 2 receivers and your top back isn't at 100%. Schaub isn't close to being the problem, nor is he horsesh*t or horsechit. When Andre Davis is your best receiver, you're going to have problems.

You mean when is Houston going to have teams like LA or Chicago or NY???
Folding?? I am not sure I understand you hembo. This is the sh*t that makes your look like a complete Boob. By the way.. I see you didnt respond at all to the guaranteed contract thread anymore after you "guaranteed" I was wrong. You do what you normally do... you ignored it and switched to another subject because you were wrong again.

I was just being the glass is half empty, ab..relax a little...no i didnt switch the subject..There just comes a point to where its not worth arguing over any longer...No contract is guaranteed..in any sport. teams always have options..i stand by that 100%

And you are wrong. Of course there is NO point in arguing when you are wrong.
MLB contracts are 100% guaranteed. If you sign a 3 year deal that pays $30 million, no matter what happens you get that money. Even if you get hurt and never play an inning, you get paid.

You can stand by it, but when it comes to baseball at least, you'd be wrong.
Don't you remember, back when ARod was still in Texas and they were trying to work out a deal to send him to Boston and he was willing to take less money down the road? The union wouldn't let him do it. The MLB player's union is by far the most powerful union in sports, so they have managed to get guaranteed contracts for the players. Teams don't have options. If a baseball team cuts a player, they *still* have to pay their salary.

Are you guys sure that hiring that former AGGIE as head coach was a good idea?

I didn't like how Kubiak didn't call timeout at the end of the first half before the Jags kicked the field goal. The Texans would have had 1:30 left instead of fifty something seconds. Then when we did get the ball we threw the ball toward the middle of the field instead of the sidelines.
Matt Schaub wasn't that bad yesterday.

Schaub's biggest problem is that the O-line isn't playing worth a fart in a tornado. If you look at the stats, they have been going steadily downward since Steve McKinney was put on the shelf. Flim-Flam Flanigan has pulled the wool over both Kubiaks' and Shermans' eyes. He doesn't push the D-line back the way McKinney did and he is missing blocking assignments left and right. Pitts hasn't been hitting his assignments either.
Schaub is not Brady, Manning or even Romo, but he is a damned sight better than David "Watch the Hair" Carr!

And ive been dealing with the usual...dragging not only a different thread but an entirely different sport into anothe forum...ugh..
anyways, offensive lines can make stars out of medicore Qb's..while troy aikman was great he had the luxury of,what, 4 of his 5 OL being pro bowlers? In between their being in jail they were great..same for montana...
brady is good but would he be this good in tennessee or tampa bay?

He would be very good in Tennessee. Not so sure about Tampa.
No QB is very good with a bad offensive line.
By the way.. what you deal with you bring on yourself.

Hembo and AB need to get a room at Motel 6 and work through their problems.

1. Schaub is far from the reason the Texans are losing. Remember that Schaub has only started 8 games in his career. He is learning too. I think he has good and sometimes great thus far
2. McKinney is missed due to his calling of the blocking scheme at the line before the snap. Its no coincidence that the Texans were running the ball effectively AFTER Mckinney took over late last year and early this year. When he went down so did the running game and the pressure on Schaub increased.
3. Injuries is by far the biggest issue the Texans are dealing with right now. AJ being out has hurt Schuab effectiveness because he and AJ were a machine while he was out there. Then you loss your 2nd biggest offensive threat in Jacoby Jones. If you have to depend on Andre Davis to be the man, you are in dire straits.
4. The coaching staff is learning just like the players. They have to place the players they have in the best position to succeed. If you are having to use your 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes, 4th string player, its hard to get the job done. There is a reason why the players are backups and not starters.
5. The refs have been unmerciful and atrocious so far this season. I have seen infractions called when no infraction exists or some phantom abstract call that almost never gets called.
6. The defense has gotten steadily worst as the season goes on. Teams are short throwing on us to minimize the pass rush. I feel the Texans need to blitz more but I am not the coach.
Just my 2 cents worth
