This was a good decision. Woody has been terrible since we signed him and paying him was one of the biggest wastes of money in recent Astros history.

signing the guy selling cotton candy would have been a better option.... The astros already dumped some deadweight in the off season(lidge, qualls, jennings and everett)Now all we need is a proven starter and for someone in the minors to step up(ie the 2 at round rock) then they can dump wandy and they would be set

Uncle Draytie swallowed a big one this time. Somebody better check his pulse to see if he's still breathing.
Woody was a flat out bust for this team. I'm glad to see money concerns didn't keep him on the roster.
