w/o Berkman talking sh*t...
First baseman Lance Berkman questioned the timing.
“Possibly a bit premature,” he said. “The game is completely different in the regular season than it is in spring training, especially from a guy like Woody who has been around the block a few times.”
i just cant stand this prick...i'd love to trade his ass for some pitching
yes, woody has been around the block a few times but the guys he's pitching to tend to go around the bases every time he goes out there..

The problem is that Woody blew out his engine going around the block so many times.

I like Berkman. He'll probably end up the second most productive hitter in team history behind Bagwell. After 15 years of B&B - mostly just platitudes with a rare zinger from Bags, I kinda like Berkboy saying what's on his mind. You could not trade him for any pitcher that will give you as many WinShares from here on out. I think we need to count our blessings we have him. I'll predict that he'll finish in the top 10 of the Triple Crown stats this year, maybe in the top 3-5. Nothing wrong with that - beats Pappas for Robinson.

Woody should have never been signed in the first place and should have had his old useless ass released last year.
