Goodness, what a dull game. Peavy is a very good pitcher. It's a shutout tonite. Oh well - we'll score sooner or later this week.

Peavy looks like a god out there, and our boy doesn't realize that the season has started yet.

I'll bet we'll read "Sometimes you just have to tip your cap" tomorrow.

Sorry, it looks like this season is going to be painful ....and there are probably many more to come. So much for the glory days. Wow, it has been futile following this team for a lifetime. Oh well...

"Wow, it has been futile following this team for a lifetime."
I said that last year and a certain know-it-all got all pissed off. It has been futile. When they had the bats and pitching, Bags and Biggio shut it down in the playoffs. Then they FINALLY make it to the WS and what happens? They got swept. I am coming to believe that the Astros will never get that WS win. If they ever get back to the WS at all.

Pence looked very bad hitting 2nd, he should hit 6th with Loretta/Matsui hitting second.
Oswalt continues to allow way toooo many hits, he looks more like a number 2 than a 1 lately.

Let's just hope that Backe pitches well tonight. If Backe blows up, we're screwed big time.

The Astros will be fine. We will win the division.
