Valverde SUCKING big time.
This team is very bad, no pitching, bad starting pitching, very bad relievers.
Manager, not good either.
Bad defense.
This team is going to be very lucky to win 80 games this year.

They should win this one. Junior walks with two out, single by Bourn, single by Pence ties the game. Berkman hits three run homer to chase Hoffman and put us up 9-6.

If Paulino and Nieve are ready to come up when Backe and Sampson get injured then this team has the potential to win 90. If not then it is an 80 win team. Better than last year either way, just not good enough yet. They will be more entertaining this year either way though.

The season is over because the Astros don't have enough brothers on the team! however, the addition of Michael Bourne is going to be a definite positive for this team. Now they'll have some hip-hop in the clubhouse now and again. All those white boys probably listen to Barry Manilow and Neil Sedaka to get up for the game! ;D

Coach, I disagree, he takes pitches (unlike Taveras) takes walks, and has hit the ball. He steal bases (unlike Taveras did for us) and is a much better defensive player. Right now the OBP is .357 against a very good rotation. For Taveras to have that OBP he needs to hit .320

Also I'd think they'd have to offer some Ripple and MD2020 as beverages. |
