Nothing like drawing a salary while suffering all of those imagninary injuries. Most of these pitchers today are such wimps they couldn't have made a staff back in the 50's and 60's. Wood and Hampton are both a couple of p*ssies.

No way could they have played in the 50's-60's..impossible..a lot fewer teams and better all around competition

I like this part ..the part about him playing in the mexican winter league Hampton has had other setbacks in his comeback. He pitched only one inning in Mexico this winter before straining his hamstring when he slipped on the mound. He then strained his groin in the second inning of his second spring training game. now thats just silly sh*t..he didnt pull anything...he was late for the hagar show at cabo wabo more than likely The wood's, priors, backe's and hamptons of MLB can only screw around for so long until they're just gone altogether. They can be replaced
