Noooooooooooooo way.
He is a number 2 or 3 starter for a good team. No way he is a number 1 pitcher.
Today he allows 10 hits in less than 7 innnings. This guy got his money and became a number 2 pitcher after he signed.
I don't like Oswalt as a number 1 anymore, i don't trust him going against the other team number 1 anymore.
Thank you Oswalt for allowing the Cubs come back afte ra 5 to 2 lead.
OSWALT SUCKS.

I think is time for us to trade this clown, he is not a great pitcher anymore. Today, NO STRIKEOUTS? / Can't hold a 3 run lead? ?/ Allows 10 hits? First game allows 11 hits against a very weak hitting team? ?// I've been saying for 2 years now that Oswalt is NOT the same pitcher, that he is an average pitcher nowdays. If i can get Hughes from the Yankees for this clown I do it in a heartbeat. I remember 2 years ago saying i take Peavy over this clown and many laughed, well, i am the one laughing now.

You are also the one sounding like a fool for turning on Oswalt two games into the season. His problem is that he has stopped strking people out and trying to get htem out by letting them hit the ball. The pitching coach needs to get with him and put him back on the track of being the pitcher he should be. I admit that he sucked today but I'm not ready to trade him for a Yankee rookie.

Oswalt has given up 21 hits in 12 innings so far. It seemed logical to assume his batting-average against would increase for a fifth straight year this season, but a .400 mark is a bit excessive. Don't be alamred, but also don't expect another season with his ERA in the low 3.00s.
That is from Rotoworldm so Barron, is not a 2 game thing or a 2 year thing, is a 5 year thing.
This guy is not a number 1 pitcher ANYMORE.

It's not just Oswalt. The Astros have a freaking leftfielder who plays the position like an arthritic water buffalo. I still don't understand why they signed this guy Carlos Lee to that big fat long term no-trade contract when he is a one dimensional ballplayer...meaning that he is a power hitter who can't run and can't play defense.
And..Enos Cabell was a better third baseman than Ty Wigginton...and yes that is a slap in his face because Cabell played third base as though he was blind as a bat.
I cannot stand watching baseball played the way the Astros do. Sorry a$$ defense and that sleep-walking station-to-station offense.

Astros are 2nd in the majors right now with 8 stolen bases. Carlos Lee is a weak fielder but he's really not bad at all on the basepaths.
