Astros have signed Dave Mlicki...Could be an answer to their pitching woes, if there are such things. Gee, can you believe it, Chan Homer Park one day and Dave McSucki the next. Who is left out there? Duckworthless? Where's Jay KaPowell?

Uhh.... I suggest you quit using Speedys board as a news source. I find NO official release on the Astros board or MLB.com. The only place I see it listed is Speedy's board.

Duckworth is pitching out of the bullpen, has 33.3 innings and a 1.51 WHIP. Dont get fooled by that ERA. Duckworth sucks. He has 19 walks with 15 K's. Not good.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, VERY HAPPY to see people changing in this forum and SEEING the importance of the whip.
AB, I agree with you, Duck is not pitching that good, high whip means not good in my book.
By the way, Wheeler and Qualls had similar whip's last year.

Qualls, 1.29, and believe me, that is high, he should bring that to 1.18 or so to be effective again.
over 1.25 for a reliever is not good in my book.
