Well, look at what Buchholz is doing at Colorado.
Wheelr at Tampa.
Yes, Sarfate and Albers are doing good, but i wanted Tajada here, so i have no problem with that, but giving Hirsh and Buchholz for an 80 mph fastball pitcher, and Wheeler for a 3b that does the SAME things Lamb did but worse, i have no idea what our former GM thought about.
That GM killed this organization for 5 years.
Ohhh, yes, he is the a$$h*le that did not sign Beltran nor Pettitte.
Give him a cheesburger but not a team, PLEASE.

This board is too f**king negative too early...thats saying a lot coming from me..i could very well be one of the negative guys at all star break but lets concentrate on the good..pence, lee,oswalt etc...these guys will be fine in a few weeks

Well, tonight, in 2 plus innings, 2 runs.
Offense came back with 3 but BULLPEN gave 2 back.
This bullpen is AWFUL.

Bullpen allows 3 runs tonight, we can back with 4 runs but the 3 runs by the bullpen did not give us a break to win. Pujols 2 homers vs the triple a bullpen we have.
another thing, Cooper has to be worse manager in baseball. He took Loretta with us losing the game, a good hitter vs a very bad hitter. Perez had 3 at bats after that, and of course, he sucked big time. Only time he was able to get on base was when the pitcher could not get a ROUTINE ground out.
Guys, i am telling you, Cooper has to go, he is awful.
No way we are going to win with Cooper nor that triple a bullpen we have. By the way, 3 series, 3 LOST SERIES, lol

Valverde finally pitched a scoreless inning. I was kind of wondering if he could do it.

He allowed 2 hits, but finally a scoreless inning.
Backe gave 5 walks, but won the game.
The hitting was fantastic, Tejada continues to play good D and Berkman continues to hit a lot.
Tomorrow is an important game because we NEED to win the series.
Pence should not hit 1 or 2 in the lineup.

I agree, we desparately need to win a series. Another loss tomorrow would be demoralizing. Berkman has been on fire. I thought for sure he was going to deliver some more runs in that last inning.
