I believe this is my fault, I jinxed Sampson trying to get him back in the rotation. I said he was pitching good. I am so sorry, Sampson sucks, he is a baby trying to pitch in a man's world. If he were a baby he would suck his thumb and maybe slobber on the ball and get it wet and pitch better than he is now. Worthless.

What is it about Matsui, they can't seem to hit his strike zone. Is he in some kind of a crouch, is he a midget or what?
We have the good fortune not to have knocked out this pitcher. He seems like a AAA pitcher too.

Yep, no control but a damn nice fastball.. he's hit 96 multiple times. If he works on his control, he could be a good pitcher. I'm sure the fastball is what got him into the bigs. He started in AA last season...

Seemed a little lame to keep Moehler in there. I suppose we don't have enough pitchers to get us out of this situation so we have to go with Moehler. I really like this Towles. Not that he is any good or anything or even can hit.

I thought he should have taken out Moehler. Moehler sucks, he just needed a little time to prove it. They could have pinch hit for him there and maybe scored, put in one of the V's to give up some homeruns.

Moehler is at best a late innings mop up guy... nothing more. The fact that he pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings shocks me... unfortunately for him.. he pitched 3 innings.

I am embarrased with the team we have (rotation and bullpen) Remember, this team played the phillies yesterday againt the bench players, C, SS, CF Tonight, again, vs bench players, C, 1b, 2b, LF, RF And we allow bench players score 10 runs on us?  ///// I am ASHAME on this team |

Maybe pulled Moehler after the 3rd, but there aren't really good options for the long relief duty for the Astros...

Nope, but you pinch hit, Borkoswki for 2 innings, thats 5, Villareal 6, Wright 7, Geary 8, Brocail 9.

Maybe, but we used the pen for 7 inning last night.. using it again for over 8 innings. I just can't really hold this against Cooper too much for trying to get more out of Moehler... It's easy to 2nd judge him after the fact.

You need to score when you are losing.
Mohler and Borkowski are same kind of pitchers, go for 2 innings when behind.
That whould had been 5 innings, 4 to go. Wright did not pitch yesterday, nor Geary nor Brocail.
