Well, manager did NOT help.
Peavy should had NOT pitched in the 6th, that was a mistake, he threw to much the game before (8 innings of no runs at Coors) and 90 pitches through 5 (he was not getting the outside corner, nor was Backe).
Now, i am PLEASANTLY surprised because i did not think we could beat peavy in a backe vs peavy matchup.

I feel sorry for Backe in this one. Who would have ever thought Brocail, the way he has been pitching would crack up, and Valverde would pitch well. What will happen next? Maybe Everett will come back to Houston and lead the league in homeruns.

Maybe Everett will come back to Houston and lead the league in homeruns. Everett couldn't go back to Little League and lead that league in home runs. Thanks that made my sides hurt. Though I have to agree with you on that |
