Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate actions during his Club's June 5th game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver. Bob Watson, Vice President of On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
Unless appealed, Berkman's suspension is scheduled to begin tonight, when the Astros play the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. If appealed, his suspension will be held in abeyance until the process is complete.

Berkman will appeal. Good idea since I think all three of these games are winnable. We need all the bats we can get. Plus if he is starting to heat up, you don't want him to sit just as he gets hot.
