to the Diamondbacks organizational needs tonight. Jack is the man to deliver the goods. The only thing that might save us is if their pitcher cracks up, and that is a possibility tonight, much better than last night anyway. Edgar Gonzalez is almost as bad looking as our own Jack. But Edgar has much more major league experience giving up runs. Jack gave up most of his runs in the minor league. If our hitters can get to Edgar worse than he has been gotten to in previous matches, I think we have a chance.

The game is going kindof as I had predicted. Both pitchers are giving up runs. They are tied 2-2 after one inning. I am concerned that we keep scoring runs. That is the only way we can win and score a whole bunch before we get to their relief pitching.

I will say one thing for Jack, he tried to help himself, and got thrown out at home. This game is not boring despite being two starters that aren't stellar.

Jack has settled onto that hill. I keep waiting for him to fall off but he doesn't. Whoops gave up another run. If he can make through 5 innings that will be a success for Jack.

Cooper made a great move there getting Cassel out. That may have saved us the game. I still don't believe Copper is any good. I did like the way he got Watson pissed at him though. That was classy.

We won. It wasn't pretty but things happened about the way I said they would in a best case scenario. It wasn't a prediction. I am not a prophet.

Cooper made a great decision taking Cassell out.
Sampson and Cassell both suck.
