Berkman got called out on a high strike and showed the umpire where it was on his way back to the bench and got ejected. Garner got ejected for protecting Berkman and telling this damn blind umpire where the pitch was located. It was armpit high.

Unreal.. I cant disagree with Berkman and I am glad to see someone on this team getting pissed about the mediocre umpiring that is going on.
He should not have been tossed with his back to the ump headed to the dugout. Thats BS.

The umps appear to be after Berkman. I'm also glad that Berkman has enough fire to speak up but I think it's time for Lance to cool it for awhile. This won't help when he has his appeal hearing for his suspension.

Well.. I agree. IN the end he will lose if he keeps this up. I think he has made his point.

Sorry, but Berkman needs to keep his mouth shut. It's one thing to complain, that's fine, but the manager needs to do the rest. It's very selfish to get ejected there. Especially twice in one week.
Garner is the only one that should be fighting enough to get ejected.

This won't help when he has his appeal hearing for his suspension. "I've had two really quick ejections and both times I'm wondering what exactly it was that they took umbrage with. The only thing I can think of is that if you know you're wrong, you get really defensive. Maybe they didn't like the fact that attention was being brought to a questionable call,'' Berkman said Can you imagine how unnerving it must be to have an argument with Berkman. With Sheffield the umps get, "Mo' fo' you done dissed me with dat call". With Berkman, they get, "Sir, the centrifugal vector extrapolated from the movement I imparted to my bat surely did not fit the definition of "to strike at" as per Rule 2.00. Please do not take umbrage from my observation; rather take it as constructive criticism so that, if a similar confluence of events occurs in the future, your substandard powers of observation won't cause you embarrassment and reflect poorly on your intellect and professionalism." "You're outta here Berkman - you ain't gonna talk trash like that on MY field" Next time, he just ought to follow Crash Davis's lead and have the ump beg to have Lance call him a C0CK SUCKER.

It sounds like Berkman is suffering from premature ejectulation.

I think it reflects very poorly on the umpiring profession when they go out of their way to sodomize ballplayers whom they have perceived as "showing them up" on the field such as Berkman whilst they drop to their knees and fellate Barry Bonds with every possible borderline call. Even WITH steroids, Bail Bonds wouldn't have come close to the HR record without the umpo-fellatio.
