Tejada Feel Good

I see everyone in here is quick to jump on the Stupid Clemens story and when something comes out that is GOOD FOR THE ASTROS and Baseball in General not one person in HERE brother to even mention it. After the Way ESPN suckered Tejada and they even barley have a story on it. I see all you guys care about is some be a suck ass jerk.
Well the story is Tejada tells some kid with MS at a lunchen yesterday he would hit a HR for him that nights well he delivered in the Sixth and then met him after the game to give him a bat. Its a real good story on Tejada and even Lance comes out looking like a Very Good Guy instead of the jerk every one in ST was crying over him not signing Autographs. Here's the link

I think Tejada is exactly what the team has needed. He's a guy who tries to fire teammates up. He's also the best hitting SS we've ever had.

We may make jackass posts, but then again, most of are jackasses in our own way. I will criticize a player when they make stupid comments like Berkman does all the time. I also applaud players for making a difference and bringing a team to life. I don't care that Tejada is 2 years older than he originally claimed and I think what he did for that young man was a great gesture that a lot more MLB players would do well to emulate.

As for jumping on Clemens, the a$$h*le deserves every bit of it. If he would act like a person instead of some kind of prima donna all the time, he would catch a lot less grief. Personally, I hope that his wife divorces his sorry ass and takes everything she can get.

no and I guess I wasn't clear in my statement. Its ok if everyone thinks posting about an Idiot like Clemens is what talking Astros is SO BE It. I do think having Tejeda is just what this team needed this year and have been on board sense Day One with that trade. It would have been nice to see in all the negative post a Postive one on a Astros was all I was trying to get across

I tried posting some positive things in the beginning and I found that the Astros responded by losing. I believe there is a negative energy which radiates from this forum and somehow that negative energy effects the Astros positively. I cannot give you a scientific explanation for that but the more negative we get, the worse the opposing team plays. Anyway while we say that the Astros suck, we also say that other teams at times suck worse so you could say that negativity is equally given to the Astros and opposing teams. In otherwords we do not descriminate with our negativity. Tejada is too old to hit well. He says he feels young, but we old people know what that means. It means he can still make it to the plate without a cane by leaning on his bat.
