First i could not believe Brocail was going to pitched for a second inning with an 8 to 3 lead, especially with Valverde not pitching for 2 days. Then, Jones hit a drive to center, great play by Bourn so i say, 3 run lead, Valverde for SURE, right? ??//// No, the moron left Brocail to pitch to sweeney and of course, A HIT. Cooper is AWFUL.

Cooper was stupid to send Brocail out to pitch the 9th.

The Astros are doing alright, but it sure as hell ain't because of the managers' decisions!

Cooper did it again, 3 and 1 count on berkman, Tejada on first, NO OUTS, losing by 2, and the a$$h*le we have managing has Tejada running?
Of course, Berkman swung at ball 4, Tejada was out, 3 and 2 pitch to Berkman, struck out with a cut fastball and third out.
The idiot we have managing ran us out of a big inning.
And, with ASSwalt pitching, we need 5 or 6 runs to win games, this guy is not Hudson is Bronson Arroyo.

vega- Exactly my same sentiments. What in the world was Cooper doing running Tejada with Berkman batting? Again, your taking the bat out of the hands of your clean-up hitter.

I don't believe that Cooper really has a clue about how to use his lineup in those situations. You let Berkman hit. If he connects, Tejada is on third or home. You run Tejada, he's on second and you can bypass Berkman. The unfortunate thing about the Astros play though is that as long as they win, Cooper is in. Can we chip in and get him a bluetooth so he can talk to Dierker? ;D

Can we chip in and get him a bluetooth so he can talk to Dierker? ;D It sounds like he took that one right outta Dirk's playbook....

Yesterday, the stupid move? Blum hitting 6th and Pence hitting 7th, why? ?// Pence is hot, Blum is not. With men on first and third and less than 2 outs Blum hit a fly ball to third base and unable to do the job. Cooper is AWFUL.

I agree with that one. Blum should not have been hitting 6th. If he is playing he should be seventh or eighth.

Now, today's BIG error is playing Bourn against a lefty, especially after Cruz got 2 singles and a walk on monday.
I am really, really tired of watching Bourn hit, he makes Taveras look like Mickey Mantle.

Yeah, he needs to at least sit back and get a perspective a few games. He has been terrible and we have Erstad playing well. If Moehler gets through this inning it will be a miracle. He sure acts like he is trying to give up a run.
