I am trying to be positive but we are only ahead 3-0 after the first inning. Moehler is pitching and they have some pischer by the name of P. Mischer. The good news is that Bourn finished the second inning so we won't have to see him bat next inning. The other good news is that Towles isn't playing tonight. Maybe the hitting coach has him working on his stroke. P. Mischer isn't the most accomplished pitcher in the world. I guess we have to get a better lead that 3-0.

It is looking bleak again. I will try to be positive but they tied it back up and Mischer is pisching pretty good now.

I would have an inkling to pull out Moehler tonight. He isn't looking too sharp. In fact he is sucking pretty bad. I think we play better when we are negative and Moehler always was pretty bad. Guys on 2nd and third and 1 out.

We need this game because tomorrow there is no chance on winning that one.
We should be able to score 8 runs tonight and with 8 to 5.
Tomorrow, Lincecum is going to stop our hitters and lose 6 to 2.

If Moehler can get through one more inning I am going to bed. I think we have a pretty good chance if he can get through this inning without any runs. Both pischers tonight have been riding the fence. I was surprised Misch got out Berkman there.

Problem is we have 3 pitchers hitting tonight, Ausmus, Mohler and Bourn.
When you have 3 outs out of 9 in your lineup makes it very difficult to score runs.
I would have used Erstad or Cheito over Bourn.
I would had squeezed with Ausmus.
But, Cooper just don't like to use his head much.

Cooper I think is playing with the players the big boss wants him to play with. I have a feeling Bourn is somebody's baby.

See who they use in the sixth to pitch then I got to go. Lots of work to do tomorrow. Good they put in Byrdak. I hated to see another inning of Moehler. Can't believe that this Misch is pisching so well.

For a change. But screw Cooper, how about Erstad coming off the bench and slamming that 3 run HR! Then Berkman nailing it down with his shot.  I am starting to like the way the Astros are playing. They don't get rattled when they fall behind. I'm still not convinced they can continue this, but boy is it fun to watch them right now. Good game!  |

It was an incredible game.
Good thing is we are going to see Erstad play in the 3 games in Texas, I imagine twice at LF (lee DH) and once at 1b (Berkman DH).
This would be my lineup:
1. Matsui 2b
2. Erstad lf
3. Tejada SS
4. Berkman 1b
5. Lee DH
6. Pence rf
7. Loretta 3b
8. Towles C
9. Bourn CF
Or, maybe use Loretta hitting 2nd and Erstad hitting 7th.
The thing is, I want to see Loretta play more at 3b over Blum and Wigginton.

Now, if you don't want to make many changes in the lineup then you go like this:
1. Bourn cf
2. Matsui 2b
