Well, we lost the first one, very bad relievers with Wright (again) and Nieve.
Berkman was awful tonight, AWFUL.
Good to see Bourn have back to back good games.
Cooper, again dumb moves, running and stealing in the 8th losing by 3, we have a very dumb manager.

Pence just hit a grand slam homerun. How do you be negative about a grand slam homerun? I had a feeling he was going to do something. But a homerun? You can't help but be getting to like Pence. He is starting to show he hits any kind of pitching.

Naw, disagree with that one. I think Sampson is the type that when he is on he is on and when he isn't he is terrible. I don't think it has much to do with innings. He was shaky in that inning and not great in the whole game. But I don't think it was a bad idea to give him the ball in the seventh. If he would have made it through it would have saved a reliever for the eighth. I don't think that is a bad idea, just didn't work.

We won but that one could have gone either way. Give the game to Pence and Sampson and some good luck. Sampson wasn't that good but it worked out tonight. Pence is closing in on 300 batting average. We are fortunate to have him right now.

That is freaking crazy. It worked out today because Blum had a good game. But then why is throw in the Towles playing at all. He is a complete zero on the offensive column. When he gets a hit I write home to mother about it.

When Towles gets a hit is like a pitcher getting a hit.

At least tonight they walked Towles to get to the pitcher. They haven't completely lost their respect for him.

Great place in the lineup to put Pence. At least there he will get lots of walks.

BP comes though again and now the Astros won the Series, they are still playing good baseball even when Berkman has a bad series1

This was a big series and the 3 starters did very good.
I saw one thing i liked tonight, i saw Byrdak throwing in the bullpen in the 7th inning, meaning, he is ahead of Wright right now and i believe we should continue with that.

Was the baby a boy? That could be a good omen. Lets just hope the Yankees don't get the next Hunter Pence. That game last night taught us allot. I would have predicted that Hunter would have a bad game because he doesn't like that kind of a pitcher. Evidently Bourn does. I think coaches need to look at matchups more.
To Vega, I didn't think Moeller looked that good. I think the starting pitching is all pretty bad. None of them have shown anything consistant except Chacon most of the time keeps us in the game. I think our pitching coach is doing a good job under some pretty difficult circumstances.
