I am not too thrilled about this matchup tomorrow. I have a feeling that Sampson will have to pitch his best to beat this guy. This is the kind of guy that Tejada and Pence should have a good game against. But it is a tough draw for Sampson. It is good we won today because this series could have been disastrous.

tough matchup for us, but this team USUALLY hits good against other team's best starter.
Also, i have confidence in all starters to be able to win the 3 to 2 game, EXCEPT FOR ASSwalt right now.
By the way, Astros only 1 game out of first place Cubs and Cards.

It wasn't Sampson that lost the game, it was Nieve, and then Borkowski. You could say Cooper lost it, but he has got an awful lot of dead weight in the relief staff right now. Those two definately aren't pitching major league ball. You can tell this organization is desperate for bringing up people like Nieve from the minors. Cassel is better than all of these guys and they don't seem to want him.

With all those lefties, i think they needed to give the ball to Wright over Nieve and Borkowski.
Actually, i give the ball to Villareal over Nieve and Borkowski any day.
I agree with you, Cassell is better than a lot of guys in the staff right now.

Borkowski needs to be released and Nieve sent back to AAA. Borkowski has to be the WORST reliever in the NL.
