I don't have radio or television but it seemed like the wrong time for him to be caught stealing or off the base path or whatever it was that he did. That wasn't another one of Cooper's stupid calls was it?

I bet Pittsburg is kicking itself for letting us get Chacon. This guy has been solid. What can you say about the year that he has given us so far? It is hard to be negative on the days that he pitches. And I have been trying so hard to be negative.

Towles did not run, he was picked off by the catcher at first base, very dumb move with the pitcher hitting and 2 outs.
That was the ONLY mistake by the Astros in a great win.
We also saw the 3 and 4 relievers in our staff tonight, behind Brocail and Valverde.
Byrdak is better than Wright, GREAT MOVE BY OUR GM.

I was beginning to think you would never show up tonight. But Wright may be as good as Villareal. It is kind of hard to figure right now, I just wish they would dump Borkowski and get it over with. Good to see Cassel back. Looper got looped tonight.

Villareal was a good pitcher in the past, he will come around.
If he becomes a good pitcher, with Byrdak and Geary, then this team is set.
About Nieve, i like what i saw, the arm is back, 94 mph, but still needs work at triple a before he can help us, after an injury he needs repetition and be able to spot his fastball better and improve on his slider.

I'm also glad that Borkowski is gone.

Bork is a good person, bad pitcher.
Should not feel bad, Astros made the mistake of signing him for 800,000 dollars, i could not believe that but the guy was LUCKY.

You aren't making an obscure reference to the presidential campaign are you? If you are then I am angry even if I do hold lasting respect for the legendarily fat albert. This is a baseball forum!!

But speaking of running, should Towles run for president since he can't seem to hit a baseball. It might be an alternative career path for him. I could see his rallies everybody raising a white towl for peace.

Towles showed last year at the last that he could be a very good run producer...From wht I have seen, he is a pretty good catcher.....what I dont like is getting him here before he was ready to stand up to the pressure....if they had started him in Round Rock, and then briought him in, I think he would be a different hitter....I fear that the damage may have been done.
