TCB Gets a Save

TCB gets credit for a save last night. I had a delivery last night at 0230. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I logged on to the computer in L&D to add on to the Amulet thread --- good luck charm indeed. By all rights, I would have otherwise gone back home. About 0315 a patient came in with an abruption -- a premature separation of the placenta. Since I was sitting there, we were able to get to the C-section within minutes, and deliver a healthy baby boy at 33 weeks. We are allowed a 20 minute response time to come in from home - but by that time the baby might have been stillborn and the mother's life endangered.

I'm lobbying for the mom to name her son "Crawford" However, I think she is leaning toward something else.

Hey, can you help me out with ? html? You know how you can imbed an image with ....[/ i m g]? Is there similar language where you can have an image = a link to a wav or mpg? What I am trying to do is post the Scoreboard Extravaganza and, by clicking on it, it auto-links to an audio of it. There is a pretty good version on Astrosdaily in the background of Loel Passe announcing Jimmy Wynn's upper deck shot in 4/19/1970. Do you know how to edit a 15 second snippet out of the 2 minute clip?

Sorry about how I've treated you. I think we could be buds - not that you haven't tried. I'll try to do my part now.

Hmmm...If I can get the sound clip, I know I can edit the snippet out easily using a free program called Audacity. Setting up the link should be easy enough. I'll play with it later this evening.
