Luke Scott pinch hit for Icon Biggio in the 9th today after Biggio had another of his normal days at the plate.....strikeout, weak ground ball, pop up to the shortstop. Why the hell Garner used this useless a$$h*le as the DH is beyond me. Why do you use your WORST hitter to DH?

Scott actually pinch hit for Everett. Biggio was on deck.
You know why he used Biggio as a DH. You dont even need to ask. We all need to just quit even talking about it. We know why, nothing we can do about it.

Everett has been hitting better than most of the guys ihe had in the lineup.

He did not pinch hit for Ausmus, stupid.
Scott, well, he K's a lot and ground ball to 2nd.
I don't think Scott is a good hitter.
About Biggio, I think we SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXPRESS ourself about this a$$h*le playing when we are trying to sweep a series and gain games vs the Brewers.
This is why i don't care anymore, this organization is all for 3,000 and NOT WINNING so they can f**k themselves, not me.

I would have pinch hit for Ausmus, no doubt about that.
Starting him today was defensible, though not great in retrospect.
If you look at the splits, he actually hits lefties quite well, righties horribly. He should be playing 2b only against lefties. Against righties we need Loretta or Burke.

I would not play him at all.
Because he played the last 3 years his OPS is going under .800, meaning, Alomar has a higher OPS, same with Morgan.
3 years ago Biggio was better than these 2 guys in my book, NOT ANYMORE.

vs L: .288/.339/.481
Of course, the sample is very small so it might not be anything, but I know and you know and hembo knows that he's getting his AB this year to get 3k, so I would try to get him those ab against lefties only, at least until he proves he can't hit those either.

Ausmus had two hits today. Everett has also been hitting. Scott has home run power so using him as a pinch hitter was a good move. Using Biggio as the DH today was a STUPID move, but, we know why it is done. Of course, the sooner this a$$h*le gets his 3, 000, the sooner we can get rid of him.

yes, ausmus got 2 hits today, so more of a reason to take him out, no way he gets 3 hits.

Thats what I was thinking when Ausmus hit Vega. We got all we were going to get out of Ausmus today, why push it.
