This Astros team should be an embarrassment to the city of Houston, the fans, the owner, and everyone involved. This team plays with no heart......going through the motions. And, I predict it will only get worse as long as Cooper and Wade are here. Drayton MacLane has destroyed this team by not spending any money on pitching. As long as we keep trotting recycled junk out of the pen, this will happen. We have Paronta and Borkowski becuae nobody else wants them. We blew money on Chacon and never attempted to sing Kyle Lohse.. This is the worst pitching staff this organization has ever had and the owner is to blame for it.

I agree. I can't remember ever being so disgusted with Astro baseball. I came into the year enthused to follow baseball. This was the wrong year to do that. Pitching has always been the part of baseball that has most interested me, and evidently Drayton made a business decision that pitching doesn't put fans in the seats. What a loser!

well, i am not losing much sleep with this team, i don't remember when was the last time i watch more than 1 inning from the astros.
I am watching the Rays play instead, good pitching, good defense, and very young team.
AsStros, old, no pitching, no defense.

If I could get the Rays, I'd watch them. Fortunately, where I live I can get Astros and Rangers on DISH Network. I find myself watching most of the Rangers games because I'm too pissed off to watch the Astros and I've followed them since 1962.

I can't stand and watch the asstros, old team losing is baaaaaaaaaaaad.
IF they were young, no problem, if we had a good minor league system, no problem but asstros are in bad shape for at least 5 years.

The situation is pathetic tonight. Cassel is not ready for the pros, but what the heck, he is 28. He has 5 years to learn to pitch. We just put in our ace Paronto which means the game is in the trash bin. At 33 he is the leader of the teams pitching youth movement.

I really don't have interest in switching teams. I like the team that you went with and the reason you went with them. I wish them luck.

Swept by the worst in the division at home. It doesn't get any worse than this. Are the fans starting to not show up? Man if they are still going to ballgames in this state of affairs, they are crazy.

I issued a challenge to my oldest son at the last game that we went to together. I told my son to walk down and tell Drayton that Drayton was in his seat. My son was afraid we'd get kicked out. I said as bad as this team is, I was hoping we'd get kicked out.

We won tonight with good starting pitching. Wandy has been tough. I liked the way Cooper did the pitching too. I am not satisfied with the people he plays all the time though on offense.

Cooper got handed a pile of sh*t and couldn't make more than a couple of wet farts out of it....
