When I lobbied to sit Bourn and Pence, I never meant it to be this much. I wanted him to sit in situations that Erstad might do better which was against hard throwing right-handers. I would like Bourn back.

I wanted Erstad when we had a chance to do something, but this team is going nowhere, is time to play the young even if they are bad, Bourn and Towles.
Also, time to bring pitchers from triple a and see, and shut oswalt for a loooooooooooong time.

Towles has no confidence and is horrible right now. He needs to be sent back down and kept there for awhile.

I think Towles needs a kick in the ass. He tries to play the count too much. I think pitchers in the majors are too good for that. He needs to look for a pitch in the strike zone and hit it and not think about anything else. When he gets good at hitting the pitches then he can worry a little about the count.
