I won't deny that Oswalt has had some pretty rough times in recent years, but lately it is looking like the old Oswalt again and he is definately the ace of the team and competing with all of the aces right now. This game today sealed it.

he left a long time ago to be a bandwagon fan of Tampa, all he could do was trash the Astros and Oswalt

I miss Vega...He knows his baseball and tells it like he sees it...sort of refreshing to me to see someone take a stand.
He might have been a bit harsh, but in truth everything he said was very reasonable...Until just the last few games, Roy O has been quite ordinary this year.

Actually it has been more than a few games, if it had been only two I wouldn't have said this. I thought there was a good chance Oswalt was done also but he isn't. He always had his velocity so I thought there was a good chance he would be back at some point. I miss Vega also because most all the time he makes good points. That was why I was trying to scare up some Vega action. The team is still in a precarious position and that has never changed. It is amazing that they are doing as well as they are. I think they need to be careful overworking a guy like Oswalt. It is always a temptation when you have had so many injury problems. Oswalt is someone also that I think may overdo it because he loves doing well.

He has always been that way. He will make some short nice statements on occasion but he has always been pretty negative. I am not so negative, but lately I had been trying a negative approach. I was kind of getting to like it.

So Vega, quit hiding out in Tampa Bay. What about this Oswalt. You called him Asswalt. I am calling him the Wizard of Ozwalt. How do you pitch a 9 inning shutout with only 4 strikeouts. Granted the team was not too powerful but we are all on this forum off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oswalt, We hear he throws an ace of a wiz if ever a wiz there was. Because of the wonderful ace his is. He wizzes on goats in his pasture. That doesn't rhyme but lets face it, I will never be another Holly. I would have to put on 150 pounds.

Juan marishal once pitched a no hitter with NO strikeouts...he was using smoke...but no mirrors...He was a groundball pitcher

I remember him, saw him pitch a few times. But he is not the man of the hour. Wizard of Ozwalt.
