I was surprised but not astonished. He has been really solid after his rocky start. I think we may have turned a great deal with him. The bullpen has really turned into a plus for this team. I don't say that Cooper is to responsible, but at this point I am ready to give him another year. He seems to have grown with the job. It will be tricky with this team no matter how you cut it.

LaTroy Hawkins has also been a great addition to the pen. It's time to get rid of Brocail.......he's toast.

But you have to remember Jb, Brocail has had more appearances than any other pitcher in the bullpen. I think that he has carried too heavy a burden this year. He is old but may have a few more productive years. In fact it is looking like this year he will beat his record for most appearances.
