Dodgers and Joe Torre

I am surprised at the good fortune that the Dodgers have to have picked up Joe Torre. They haven't had anyone so good since Tommy Lasorda, at least I used to think Tommy Lasorda was pretty good. They were always the team that I hated in the national league so I guess that means I hope the Astros beat them. I don't have real high hopes though since it is Torre against Cooper.

I think Joe Torre out managed Cooper in that series, especially in that last game. The other games weren't close enough to need a manager. Cooper shows signs of becoming a decent manager at times. I suppose we could do worse.
