sucking like he used to. He gets in and gets knocked right away. I felt like that game could have been won or at least we shouldn't have been behind 8-3 going into the ninth. Cooper shouldn't have put in Homer under those circumstances. At least that is what I think. Homer hasn't got it together coming off the injury.

Homer sucks. He has been terrible since he was injured. He is either still injured or the opposing hitters have finally figured out how to hit those BP pitches he tosses up there.

Right now, I'm comparing him to Jay Powell, Doug Henry, and Kent Bottonfield.

I am wondering still if Homer should be relief. I am not saying that he is a good pitcher, I am just saying that he never proved to me that he couldn't be a starter. He showed this year and parts of last year that if he is on his game he can be effective as a reliever. But he showed the same thing starting. The problem is keeping him on his game. What position would be the best to do that? I am not saying that he will be good at anything, I am just saying that they don't seem to me to be smart in the way that they are using him. I would think at least they would give him a spot start or two based on how much trouble they have had with starters. I know they are short relief. They are short everything.

Sampson is hurt...he was a rock in the bully, but since he got hurt, he cant get outs....theas Coops; fault, not his....same with Arias...he was great, but now he is hurt. We apparantly have no choice but to trot those guys out and hope the batter hits it at somebody.

"he was a rock in the bully" I am not sure that I understand that expression. I didn't know Sampson was still hurt but that would explain his poor pitching. We have had a load of injuries this year.

What I meant was that he was very, very good in the bullpen before he got hurt.Same with Arias...niether cab now get anyone out. Thats the managers fault, except that Coop doesnt have much choice.Everyone in the bull pen is hurt....every damned one of them
