By winning. The Astros won their first series of the year! They did it with pitching. Hitting sure had very little to do with it. If Berkman can't play, dig a grave and bury him! They might as well do the same already to Lee. That guy hasn't started the season ready to play. I fear that we are too bad to win consistantly.

Hitting had a little to do with it. Blum's clutch hit in the 9th to tie it was sure enjoyable...especially after so many years of seeing runners on base squandered.

Berkman had a very good game in Round Rock, i think 3 for 5.
Now, with Bourn and Keppinger hitting the way they are, with Berkman hitting third, IF Lee starts hitting this team will win 6 of 9 at home.
The pitching is doing ok, so we need the top 6 hitters to hit and then we are in business.

Carlos Lee is a grossly over-paid, over-weight pile of crap who is getting in the way. Trade him for some young talent and let him eat somewhere else.

Lee is a very good hitter, now, i am a little bit worried with all his K this season. He is a hitter that does not K much, so that trend this year worries me.

Until Berkman comes in and Pence starts hitting, Lee will see nothing but junk thrown his way.Leehas shown consistancy throughout his career.I suspect his hittng will catch up soon.I was a little worried about him last year in that his power numbers seemed down.I dont care that he is fat, Babe ruth was fat.

They are starting to show signs of life but I don't think this team is going to get to .500 this year unless they make some serious changes. Trade Lee for a couple of prospects and make the "Big PEWma" cut back on the Twinkies.

"I dont care that he is fat, Babe ruth was fat. " I forgot. The thing with Babe though is he could HIT! Lee is not Babe Ruth. Never has been, never will be! For that matter neither is Barroid Bonds. The record should read 1. Hank Aaron 2. Babe Ruth This transmission ends.

We need someone to start hitting. And Towles just got another big hit. That is always a big surprise, he is batting .208 now. I still think that he is looking to suck for the rest of the innings of this ballgame. The pitcher is up.

More surprises tonight. Blum comes in and pinch hits a triple and wins the game. It must be frustrating to be a Marlins fan tonight.
