It is great to know that with the Astros some things never change. I think it was in the second game of the Marlins series when our two team water buffalos put on another of their famous baserunning exhibitions. Carlos Lee decides to steal second base and falls down halfway to second base. Later, The Big Dumbass aka the Big Puma, Lance Berkman, attempted a steal of third base with two outs and was thrown out by a mile. At the time, he was in scoring position and represented the tying run. This guy is probably the dumbest SOB to ever earn a degree from Rice University. Things never change.....Lee and Berkman are both still a couple of slow, lazy idiots.

The whole team is pretty worthless. We have a few that are pulling their weight, Bourn and that Cincinnati castoff.

JB...Lee must have taken your words to heart and stayed up all night wathching some of those"get in shape now" infomercials.
Did you watch Sundays game?,...Lee not only stole a base, but he legged out a triple!...The Pirates were so shook up that they threw the ball into the dugout, and Lee was allowed to stroll home.

I have been surprised at this latest run, but it will not last. It's a shame really. They have been fun to watch!

Did you see Norris waving that towel on Lee in the dugout?
It reminded me of a football game long ago when Bob Lilly recovered a fumble on his 10 yard line.He took off lumbering down the field 30 yards ahead of everybody. He ran out of gas and pulled up on about the 10 yard line. They had to take him out for a whole quarter just to catch his breath. He said later that for the first 20 yards he was afraid they would catch him and for the last 40 he was afraid they wouldnt.
I think I will see a unicorn before I see Lee get another triple

Out here in South Dakota, we have lots of horses and these nuclear missile silos, and therefore unicorns are not that uncommon here because horses mix with cows and the horns grow in all kinds of wierd places what with the nuclear waste they throw in the ditches. But I get your meaning about Lee.

It was looking like things were changing for the better, but it is unbelievable how bad the Astros hitting has been in this Reds series. This has got to be the worst hitting team in the majors.

If I recall correctly, going in to last night's game, the Astros had scored only 66 runs.......the major league low.
