Astros owner Drayton McLane has been arrested and indicted for fraud for trying to pass the Astros off as a major league caliber baseball team. Lance Berkman aks "the big puma" should be called the "big p*ssy" for showing no hustle and no heart. Carlos Lee, who McLane refers to as his big run producer has driven in about two runs with no homers and the season is a month old. Starting pitching and middle relief is non-existent. The defense sucks. Our catchers can't hit or throw. Any jury in the country would convict McLane of fraud. Please, Draytie.........sell this team so we can unload your roster of losers and try to get some guys who at least have a little heart and will try to win games instead of bums like Berkman and Lee who are only interested in drawing a pay check.

I was hoping this was real and he was in maximum security prison. If that was the case bound and gagged he could bother the GM and maybe they could actually work toward having a baseball team.

Loyalty has its limits. The thing is, just because we insult the Astros doesn't mean we aren't Astro fans. Man, I have been an Astro fan since I was a child and I am over 50. There is nothing that I would like more than to see the Astros with a good team. But when someone like Vega or even me trashes the Astros, we just do it because we wish that they were good, had a good owner, had good management, had decent players, had something going right. It has got to get better now doesn't it? 7 in a row is enough losses, Oswalt will pitch them out of this losing streak. It isn't fair to lay this on Oswalt. This team hits like my sister, the lefty.

I was an Astros fan up until they got swept in the WS. They showed no effort and since that time, they have grown steadily worse and now are a joke. The owner has no business interfering with the GM or the player personnel staff. The GM, Ed Wade, has nothing up his sleeve unless it involves rounding up Phillies cast-offs for the roster. The "Big PEW-ma" is not the player he once was and needs to step away. We have no catching, no offense and no defense. It is time for change and I would greet with open arms an owner like Les Alexander who at least TRIES to make his team better. Drayon is interested only in padding his wallet.

I think Ed Wade is trying. I don't know how much freedom he has under Drayton. My guess Wade knows and knew that Houston was in deep trouble, but he couldn't convince Drayton of the seriousness of it. Hopefully grocery man will figure it out pretty soon. I just think we have no reason to try to finish in the middle of the division this year. We probably won't anyway so why hold on to these players. It is foolish.

I like Wade because he is starting to rebuild our minor league system, FINALLY.
Iowa, amen, we trash our team because they suck, plain and simple.

There has just been another news release. Drayton was plastered with balloons full of something other than water in a drive-by ballooning. I am concerned that the pigsh*t used in the ballooning deserved a better fate than to be thrown at Drayton. No pigsh*t deserves the humiliation of being thrown at the owner of this ballclub. I am going to start an organization for the humane treatment of hogsh*t!
