I notice that Berkman said he would be open to a trade, and with Oswalt rumors are running wild. Is there any way that we could trade Drayton along with the deal? Pitch him out with the recyclable beer glasses. They are worth at least as much to the Astros as Drayton is.

I don't blame Berkman or Oswalt for agreeing....or suggesting.....a trade. Why would they want to finish their careers with a loser like the Astros and losers is what the Astros will be unless Drayton sells the team. He has no interest in winning.........just padding his pocketbook. We can only hope the fans start staying away in droves.

If they don't we are doomed. I hate to say that I am a fine weather fan but in the pros you have to be that way. Owners aren't going to get people that will perform if they can maximize profit by cheating the fans.

If we trade both of those guys we should get many good prospects.
Lets see. Boston would love to have a guy like Berkman as DH. Same with Tampa. Even the yankees, Nick Johson is not working out.
The M's need hitting, and they traded for Lee to win, so there we have a tading partner.
Pitching, Oswalt. Yankees, Pettitte injured and Vazquez sucking? Phillies? Imagine Halladay, Oswalt and Hamels top 3, can you spell Championship? Lets stick with Phillies, and Oswalt. What about Dominic Brown and Phillip Armount? Boston, Buchholz and Lars Anderson?
We need to do something because right now there is NO fun watching this awful team with a very bad farm system.

Vega....I find that I agree with you alot. I also agree with Vega a lot. I find myself watching a lot of Rangers games on TV because Nolan Ryan is up there trying to put a winner together. Drayton is down in Houston lying out his ass to the fans about wanting to win while he allows the team to hit rock bottom.

I do not know enough to comment on the subjects that Vega comments about. I do not have time to study baseball to that extent. I have always liked baseball and lived and died in it around Astros. I watch local baseball, high school and so forth.
