It was nice to win one with Paulino pitching. We have hit about as well for him as they have for Oswalt. We are soon playing Tampa Bay and I wonder if Drayton will go plead to the players to not get swept. That should be an interesting series.

From our new PR Director. The Astros are doing just fine. Come on down to our state of the art park and enjoy our delicious low cost food. Our farm system is great and all our major league players are a swing or pitch away from being considered candidates for the league MVP. The Astros strike fear in the heart of every opponent!

We have worse offense in baseball, no way we are going to help our decent starters to win many games this year.

I'll be darned if we didn't win the first one. Myers is a gutsy pitcher. He would always make the pitch he needed. I wish he could teach that to the rest of the pitching staff. Oswalt cries all the time that he isn't getting runs. It is true but he ought to worry about his pitching instead of worrying about getting traded. He is surely as capable as Myers. I think if they were thinking about trading him they could keep it under wraps. Probably impossible but I don't think that the news has to be coming from Oswalt's agent. If we could get some offense this might not be a bad team. But it probably still couldn't be good enough to compete.

We got a good game out of Rodriguez and the offense failed us. Where have I heard that story before? Berkman finally passed up Quintero in batting average. I have a feeling that will hold. Anyway not much good to talk about. Cash actually helped the team win yesterday. Tomorrows game looks close to impossible. Norris has got to pitch a perfect game because I doubt we will get much off of this Price.

This team once again proves how bad they are. They score six runs and still cannot beat the other team. Norris did not pitch well enough to win this game because we do not have pitchers that can be reliable to hold the other team down in 4 innings. They are not that good. We don't have enough long inning relief for this poor a group of starters. If Moehler would have held we might have had a chance but they knocked him silly. One out of three against possibly the best team in baseball is not bad for this sorry bunch of losers. Time to rebuild.

Norris is going to be an awesome reliever, ala Billy the Kid, but as a starter, he usually can't pitch 5 innings.

My point was however that we didn't have the people to keep us in that game. We were in the game when Norris left and Moehler was the loser. I think we need to have a fire sale with our older players. It is a joke even trying to win with this team. We jumped out to a 4-0 lead in this game. I think that opportunities like that you almost have to give it all you got when your team is hitting as well as ours is. And yet what did we have to give it all we got with? We don't have the people that we can rely on for extended innings of relief. Therefore we went with Norris who has been almost automatic to give up a bunch of runs in the 4th or the 5th. He did and we put in our relief which not surpisingly didn't do the job. If Norris could have kept us ahead through 6 I think we could have won it.

or ahead after 5.
Norris has great stuff, the guy as a starter K s many guys, imagine him as a reliever.
Thing is, we don't have any other starter to replace Norris.

Therefore why go on? Why do we keep putting on the charade of wanting to win. It is because Drayton doesn't care if he wins, he wants to maximize profit. I just hope he loses his shirt. That is what will get this curse of an owner off of our backs.

Problem is ASStros fan are not tough enough to fight for the team. Examples, we have guys like Chandler and the other site, what his name,Speedo, that only want to hear GOOD things about team and when we say something negative, but the truth, then they take it on us personally instead of going against the team. Yankees fan would NEVER allowed their team to be like ours, they will fight fast, not the ASSTros fans.

"Speedo" is a fat little wuss who sneaks around with ASStrogirl because he gutless husband did nothing about it. Chandler is just a know-it-all hypocrite.
This team sucks and no sugar coating can cover it up. Oswalt knows Drayton isn't trying to win so he wants out. I just wish Roy would use that bulldozer that Drayton gave him to shovel out the crap on the roster before he leaves.

They can come here and talk on the Turdless punchbowl. We have a special forum for guys that don't like to hear anything bad about the ASStros. They can go there kiss each others arse. Maybe changeup and cangrejero can join them and sugercoat their arses for them.

Bad is bad however. Chandler shouldn't worry, we were never going to win anything with Drayton as owner anyway. This is easier than a slow and painful defeat. We may have the opportunity to see some drastic changes being made in the near future.
