Speedo's board has it's familiar collection of bozos. Major Malcontent.......the fat liberal f*g**t who hates all things American, hold court over there. You don't see much of ASStrogirl anymore after everyone figured out she was a horny, adulterous slut. Of couse, Speedo is always around ready to tickle her when she needs. He's probably still the same gutless coward he's always been. Does anyone know what happened to the atheist who turned Jew, Ray Kerby?

IN MY OPINION, from watching the moves the team has made the last few years I'd guess that McLane wants to win TOO much. The team is in the shape it's in partly because McLane kept trading away prospects trying to bring in that one or two extra pieces that he thought the team needed to push it over the top. He also refuses to greenlight a rebuilding project, which is another major project. When you keep just tinkering with a mediocre team, pretty soon you have an old team with nothing but a collection of spare parts and AAAA type players. He sincerely thinks the team is a playoff contender year after year and, to give the man credit, we have been most of the time that he's owned the team (and far more often than we were during previous ownerships). The final nail in the coffin as far as the Astros is the team lets non-baseball people like Gardner make baseball related decisions.

Looks like my good old friend chandler FINALLY has seeing the light.
Took us 20 years, but finally he saw the light.

McLane has thrown this team under the bus by not knowing how to put a team together and then running off the man (Hunsicker) who did. No way that Hunsicker would have signed crap like Matsui, Feliz, and traded for Jason Jennings. Another thing........I wonder if anyone in this organization had the brains to find a catcher that is at least capable of hitting .250.

Yes, thats why i say it took us a looooooooooong time to convince some of the guys about how WRONG this team was run.
Letting Hun go was the biggest mistake by this organization. Again, look at Tampa and you see Huns hands all over that ballclub.
Is a pity it took 20 years, but finally we see some guys changing their minds toward our beloved team.
Barron, don't worry, we have the catcher at triple a and that dude will hit at least .280 for us.

It is time to get this team to think for today but work for the future too. You have a budget that comes from the owner. You make your strategy as far as who is on the team through that budget. They cannot run the team the same way the Yankees are run because they have a different budget. That is why the owner needs to stay out of the management of the team. He is running a freaking grocery business. He does not have time to make good baseball decisions but only someone that really studies the game. That is a full time job at least or maybe more considering how complicated the game is. Drayton is nuts if he thinks he can make good baseball decisions. I think the difference between me and you Chandler is I appear to have more respect for Drayton's intellect. I can't see how he can be so stupid to make the same mistakes year after year. He is more interested in $ than he is in winning by a long shot. That is why he brings in some name players, to try to draw fans and in the meantime causes his whole system to go to go bankrupt. I say develop young talent and get the system in place to do that. I have no optimism as long as Drayton is running things.
