Oswalt got blasted as well as most of the rest of our pitching. Oswalt should have won that game after all the Astros scored 4 runs which is prolific scoring for the Astros. Are these games being attended? It looks to me that this Astros team doesn't have too many fan drawing cards these days. Berkman is indeed mired in another slump. Carlos Lee is the most pathetic piece of worthless baggage that a team could ever have. Pedro Feliz is entertaining fans with a .213 batting average. Quintero is hitting ahead of Berkman, maybe we should put him and Pence in the power positions.

It is the worst Astros team I can remember. We have never had a team before that just didn't give a damn and this is that team. Drayton is to blame for this mess because his ignorance has made the players not care. PLEASE ship Lee and Berkman the hell out of here before they contaminate every young player in the organization .

Lee has a no trade contract, so we are stuck with him, and Berkman right now will not give us much in return after the second half he had last year and this year.
We are stuck with them, and we are in deep problems.

I wonder how they can give players no trade contracts. To me with the salaries that they have they shouldn't even consider no trade. They are starting to do that with college basketball coaches too. At least college fans make it so hard on a college coach that they don't want to stay if they are not performing. To me if it were between no trade and paying a higher salary, I would pay the higher salary.

Astros won again. They are going on a tear. Tomorrow will be tough with Norris who has been consistantly bad. I think they need to do a better job platooning 3rd base with Feliz and Blum. I don't know why they don't play Blum more. They played him at ss yesterday like they couldn't platoon their All Star slugger, Feliz. That seems like stupidity to me. I have to wonder some about this manager.

Moehler pitches today. The Nationals get to take batting practice against this clown who should not be on our roster.

Guzman won the day for the Astros. This was a game that the opponents mistakes were what saved the day. Berkman got on and Bourn scored on an error. Lee hits a homerun to win the game? Wonders will never cease! I think there is nothing wrong with Moehler. He just isn't a great reliever, he is better as a fifth starter. He may be a better starter right now than Norris. The problem is why keep him on the roster if you don't need to win anymore? He would be better on a team that might make it into the playoffs as someone to spot start.
