As soon as Ensberg hit the line drive to third for the second out in the 9th, I knew that damn Biggio would strike out and leave the bases loaded. He didn't let me down. This jackass did exactly what I thought he would do.

I don't really care that much about this team.
biggio playing daily is crazy, i just don't like to see BAD baseball and stupid managing.
I don't WASTE my time with that.

Biggio struck out on a slider, imagine that.

You notice Biggio is not getting hit by pitches like he used to. He also is not walking either.
The Astros have a lead off hitter who is focused only on getting to 3K's. Biggio swings at anything near the plate and just hopes his bat touches the ball and by the bounce of the ball clears the infield for a base hit.
It's a damn shame that winning has become secondary to Craig getting 3000 hits because any coach worth his salt would drop Biggio down in the batting order or just sit him on the bench. But, then again, this team isn't good enough to win consistently anyway so I guess watching the Craig Biggio Show is the only game in town right now.

Maybe after he gets 3k they can make him go up to the plate for a few weeks without a bat.

He really should be pinch hitting if anything... I think its silly as hell he plays on the road anyways...That just doesnt make sense.. he's 10 hits away and that could be another month...

He has gotten hot over his last 7 games. He is 9 for 28 with a homer, 2 doubles, and 6 rbi for a .321 batting average during that time. I just don't think they are going to sit him after he gets 3000. I hope they do but I don't think that will happen. And that will be a shame.
