I think we did.
I am very high on Wallace. I belive Villar could become a regular SS in the future. About Melancon, he could become a closer or 8th inning guy. He has very good fastball and ok slider. IF Gervacio and Chia Jen Lo are healty, with the way Lopez is pitching, very nice group of young relievers for the long future. Also, remember, Linstrom is still young. Paredes is a very interesting guy, can he become a future starter at 2b? He needs to make more contact for that to happen, but he has the tools.
And of course, in the deals we got Happ, i think that was a mistake by Phillies to give that guy.
Now, a future rotation of:
1. Myers 2. Happ 3. Lyles 4. Wandy 5. Norris/Paulino
looooks very interesting.
And with a young lineup of guys like Castro, Wallace, Johnson, Bourn, Pence, Manzella, it looks like we have a future.
Now, if organization bring Berkman back next year, then i am off again from our beloved team. What, another Biggio at first until he gets numbers while we don't develop and CONTINUE losing?
Chandler would agree to taht, I DON'T.

Leave Berkman in NY. The team has been better without his loafing and whining.
Vega, what do you know about Lyles?

Awesome, top top prospect. He could be our number one in the near future. Before the season, great upside, during the season, accomplish that upside. I think before the season he was projected as a number 2, now he could become a number 1 starter.

Interesting the Indians got McAllister for Kearns, and we got Melancon.
I like Melancon, but he is a reliver, McAllister was number 5 prospect of Yanks in 2010, he has had a tough season, but the talent is there. Indians did GREAT in that trade.
