The pitching hasn't stopped Philadelphia so far. Brandon Lyon gave up what would have been a great opening day win for Myers, and today, Rodriguez had problems. Wandy, if he doesn't remember has problems when he tries to overpower hitters. The only way he wins is with control. We have probably had all the hitting we could hope for from this team. Kindof happening the way it did in the preseason. Rodriguez needs to get it together fast. Hope you guys come back to the forum. It is better to talk about a sucky team than just sulk. I am really getting tired of losing. I rarely have a team that wins anything.

The Astros have no closer. Lyon went in the game and threw batting practice. You have to have a closer who can break a pane of glass. Wandy is still the same whining little b*tch he's always been. What we can hope for is that Norris gets going to join Myers for a good 1-2 punch.

What Wandy needs to do is get going now. He tends to play poorly at the beginning of the season. We definately need another pitcher or two or three that can pitch. I don't count on it being Norris though. Good to hear from you JB. Basketball is almost over and it kindof consumes me in the winter. I could care less about pro basketball. I am almost into baseball. Want to see how these championships go this year. Go, Aggies. I really like that coach for the Aggies. I think he is the best women's basketball coach in the big 12.

I don't watch so I can only tell by the stats. He definately has some problems which seem to be reoccuring. Last year he had a hot streak and then finished the year poorly. The only one that was good at the end of last year was Figueroa, and he is sucking so far this year. It is hard to figure out starting pitchers. We have no overpowering pitchers. They all have to be on the top of their game to win. We were lucky to win last night.

I actually think we are going to do better. This team seems to have a decent offense. I think the pitching will be at least competative once it gets going. I don't think we have a chance to win the division but we do have a chance to have a winning season. It is an outside chance.

Man, I thought we were on our way in that last game. The pitching has been really shaky. It couldn't hold down that Padres team. Oh well, it is better than seeing veterans get blown out.
