Five games we have not seen the light of day. We have gotten decent pitching from the starters, but the hitting has been pathetic and relief hasn't gotten any better. I guess maybe pointing that out, might inspire someone to try a little harder!

They broke the streak today. If you stick with the Astros long enough, they win. Chris Johnson was good with the bat today. I hope he stays hot. This team needs an injection of offense. I am beginning to believe that Bourn and Pence really belong on the all-star team. Former President Bush has been promoting them, and I am really getting inclined to agree with him. Bourn was a real sparkplug tonight, and Pence hit the tying double. They are steady good players. I was happy Rodriguez gave a decent start. I wasn't expecting to win tonight and the way their starter pitched, I really lost hope. The game isn't over until it is over.

I really thought we had a good chance in that game. For whatever reason, Myers has not been pitching well. This started last season toward the end of the season. I hope there isn't something wrong with him. Let us hope Rodriguez has a good day tomorrow. It would be nice to win a series. I think our bats are getting a little hotter.

The bullpen closed out a game. Is that the first one this year? There haven't been too many. The bullpen is starting to show some improvement, let us hope our starters keep getting better.
