I think we are having pitching troubles because of lack of pitching talent. I thought Arnsberg did a very good job based on the amount of talent he was given. Miracles don't happen that often, firing Arnsberg is like asking for a miracle, that suddenly our pitchers would grow new arms. I doubt Aneury Rodriguez would be pitching on any other team in the league. We do not have that much talent in pitching. Also I think something else will eventually come out about Myers. Myers is not the same pitcher he was last year. Pitching coaches cannot do the impossible, that is, force a pitcher to go to the doctor.

Agree, he did very good last year.

I think they weakened their bullpen over the offseason. We are running mostly on rookies this year and the vet that we have is worthless. They did an extremely poor job with their bullpen in the offseason. They needed a stronger bullpen and they acted like it was a great way to cut salary. I suppose that is Drayton, I hope he feels good about it now.

Since they dismissed Arnsberg, the starting pitching has tanked. I suppose they had to do something but dismiss a good professional because he has no talent to work with or a load of rookies is not a smart thing to do. I would be much more inclined to dismiss the manager, who really seems to me to not have a clue. I am sure he is capable of some things but running this minor league team and trying to pass it off as a major league team doesn't seem something he is capable of. We need to find a miracle worker.
