Traded to Giants for a couple minor league Pitchers with some upside.
Altuve called up and expected to start at Second tomorrow.

This made sense. We had too many second basemen. With Altuve we may still have too many. Sanchez plays some short, but we'll just have to see what happens. Altuve looks like he might be a good prospect. I am interested to see how Wright does also. Last year he wasn't real bad, he had made a marked improvement over the year before. It is nice to see them playing Johnson again. That was starting to bother me.

I should add that I hate to see Keppinger go. He had injury problems but while he was playing he always gave it his best. He was a good player.

Smart Move. This team is going to have to invest in youth, to get back to anywhere decent. Hope the minor league pitchers turn out to be our recompense for the Halama and Garcia mistake Astros made a decade ago.

I don't see anything wrong in keeping players that are on the rise. Pence and Bourn have been getting better every year. I am sure every player is on the trading block, but those were All-star quality players this year and they keep getting better, they should have an awful high price. We need pitching. Both starter and relievers and we need to get rid of Lee. He has gained respect this year, however he is too old for this team and if we could get something for him, we could certainly replace him. I haven't been impressed enough with Wallace. He hasn't shown enough power. Maybe he will yet, but he hasn't been that impressive. It might be worth shopping for some competition for him.

Altuve got a hit in his first ML game. Good for him.

I also think he connected on every at bat. He never struck out. I would have to check that to make sure, I didn't look at his final at bat.
